My home is in the triangle betwixt Viroqua, Westby, and La Farge, deep within Wisconsin’s Driftless area. Unglaciated, this area is known for its steeply wooded hills cut through with rivers. The West Fork of the Kickapoo, a well known fly fishing stream, runs through my property, a valley restored to prairie. Often on summer nights, as it cools down, a ground fog will rise from the river. On this night, as I sat at a campfire a full moon rose over the draw. This is my happy place!
In my more than twenty-five years of being a commercial photographer I have seen images printed on almost every single substrate imaginable.
