SpaceX Launch

In the beginning of 2024, the United States made is first foray since the Apollo missions into landing once again on the moon. A partnership between NASA and private industry, SpaceX launched the Intuitive Machine’s lunar lander, named Odysseus, from NASA’s Kennedy Space center in mid February. I found a small park along the Intracoastal in Edgewater, FL in what is called the Mosquito Lagoon about 35 miles north of the launch pad. The launch was successful, but unfortunately the lander tipped over once it landed on the moon, shortening its mission by a couple of days.
